All of the following charts are for 5 Saxes (AATTB), 3 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, and Rhythm section (piano/vibes/guitar, bass, and drums) unless otherwise noted. The bari sax and 3rd trombone parts are not heavily relied on, so if your program is smaller, missing these parts will not dramatically affect the song's performance.
They are arranged to challenge typical middle school or inexperienced high school level big bands. There are lots of articulations and dynamics given. Sample score excerpts, lead trumpet, lead alto, and lead trombone parts are available in the table below. Each song contains written out solos, as well as chord changes/scales sheets for improvisational work.
